A pair of Zigbee smart plugs with power monitoring and a compact design.

Smart plugs let you save energy and automate just about any mains-powered device. These ones use the Zigbee 3.0 protocol, which means they will work with a wide range of smart home hubs (we like Home Assistant ). They're 13A max (so you can use them with a variety of small appliances) and they have built-in power monitoring.

To use Zigbee devices, you’ll need a Zigbee-compatible USB dongle connected to an always-on computer (a Raspberry Pi is ideal!) or a dedicated smart home solution like the excellent Home Assistant Green (with Zigbee dongle) or the Sonoff iHost.

Remote control: Turn devices on and off from anywhere using a smartphone app.
Power monitoring: Identify energy-hungry devices and reduce electricity costs. You can monitor the energy draw to identify when processes have finished - to find out when a washing machine cycle ends, for example.
Smart scheduling: Create timers and daily routines to automatically power devices on/off (e.g., fans, lamps, coffee makers).
Home automation: Integrate with other smart devices (like lights, thermostats, or sensors) to create automated scenes or routines.
Holiday mode: Randomise device activity to make your home appear occupied while you're away.
Compact: Only slightly wider than a standard plug (61mm) so it fits snugly into any socket and doesn't obstruct adjacent ones.
Wide compatibility: Works seamlessly with Home Assistant and other Zigbee-enabled smart home solutions.
